Visual Impairment Awareness training for employment professionals

Thanks to Chris Mitchell, Alice and RNIB have acquired a space to carry out visual impairment awareness training for employment professionals on Wednesday 2nd October, 13:00 – 17:00 at City Hall. This training session is FREE for anyone doing pre-employment support. Even if you’re not working with any blind or partially sighted people at the moment, with Sight Loss on the rise in the UK you’re more likely to have visually impaired customers in the future.

Further details can be found on Eventbrite, please book a ticket to reserve your place here.

Please note that places are limited to 2 people per organisation, however Alice will be running more training sessions in the future. If you have a large number or people who would be interested in attending she can arrange sessions for individual organisations. If you are able to offer a room for training which can be used for free, please also let her know.
