Some council services including public toilets are beginning to reopen

As lockdown restrictions begin to ease, some council services including public toilets are beginning to reopen. Public toilets at Ashton Court, Blaise Estate, Oldbury Court, St George Park and St Andrews Park have now reopened. Two temporary toilet blocks have also been installed in Queen Square and by the Amphitheatre. To help people have access to toilet facilities across the city when they’re outside of their home, we’d like to ask businesses to consider opening up their toilets to the public.

By joining the Community Toilet Scheme, not only will you show your goodwill to the local community, you’ll benefit from free publicity which will encourage more people to come into and visit your business. If you’d like to join this scheme contact us using our online form or email: communitytoilets@bristol.gov.uk .After you’ve applied we’ll arrange an assessment of your premises. We’ll also provide you with information and advice to ensure your toilet facilities are safe for members of the public and staff. Find out more
