Update – ‘What’s on at The Gatehouse’

A2a still have availability for their courses – The courses are for 16 – 19 year olds with GCSE grades 3 and below.  The courses are 2 days per week and students are entitled to a £10 training allowance per week.  The courses include functional skills for Maths & English E1 – Level 2 as well as support with personal development, confidence and self-esteem and advice on progressing into apprenticeships, college courses or employment. Work Zone – we continue to offer advice and guidance for residents of South Bristol looking to enter training or employment.Appointments are available both Face to Face and over the telephone. We are also running a range of personal development courses, IT courses and Adult Maths and English courses. Ways2Work Update

On Wednesday 24 June, Ways2Work, DWP and National Careers Service held our first virtual jobs fair. Between 2 and 3 pm over 50 employers and training organisations had contributed and shared vacancies and training opportunities.
