1625IP services for young people are staying open wherever is possible and we are following government advice to ensure we keep young people and colleagues safe. Our accommodation remains open, and the MAPS office is open but with limited interaction. Our Kingsley Hall office is now closed for visitors.
Reassurance to young people
All young people have some form of regular contact – this could be by phone, video calling or continuation of face to face where needed, whilst following social distancing advice. Young people identified as being the most vulnerable have regular and frequent contact.
We understand this is a very uncertain time for young people, and are making sure they have access to the most recent information as well as some general guidance.
How can you help?
After speaking to our young people during this crisis, we know that they want to help their community, and young people want to take up job opportunities that are available.
However, we have urgent needs that we must address to support the most vulnerable young people at this time. Please visit our webpage to find out how you can help. Keep an eye on this as we will update it with progress.
Our immediate donation needs are smartphones, laptops, tablets, essential toiletries, fridges/mini fridges, games, arts, crafts and books. Do contact us email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any offers or questions.
Although we can see a lot of generosity in this crisis, we know that it has affected our fundraising activities. Please donate here and consider making it a monthly donation to sustain and support a young person into independence.
A final ask is to please share these links and our social media posts, with your colleagues, friends and family.
