If you’ve been off work a long time due to your mental health and are keen to get back into employment then we can help you succeed.

If you’re experiencing a common mental health problem such as stress, anxiety, or depression, and are worried about the impact this is having on your job then we can support you to stay in work.

If you’re an employer we can work with you to improve your workplace wellbeing and to support any employees with mental health problems you may have.

We provide:

  • One to one advice and support
  • Work trials and placements
  • Support to find paid work, become self employed or set up a social enterprise
  • Job coaching and in-work support
  • Peer support networks.

This service is provided by the Richmond Fellowship in partnership with Mental Health Matters, the Bristol Somali Resource Centre and Windmill Hill City Farm.

COVID 19 update:

The Bristol Mental Health Employment Service is currently still operating but has stopped all face to face meetings.

We continue to offer telephone-based support to people experiencing mental health problems who are facing problems at work or searching for employment. During this unprecedented health crisis we are also opening up our service to anyone who has wellbeing support needs.

If you are unsure of how we can support you please contact us and we will either help or signpost you to someone else who can.
