As this is the last day of Ways2Work for 2020, we’d like to say how grateful we are for your support and engagement this year. We know it’s been tough for everyone and the way we work is almost unrecognisable to this time last year. The way you and your organisations have responded to the challenge has been inspirational. The speed with which courses and appointments went online to continue providing training and support was fantastic. Thank you.
We know there are still problems in the way this works, not least digital poverty and communication challenges with learners and jobseekers, but hopefully as we go into 2021 we’ll be able to find ways to address these and find a better balance.
In 2021, the Employment Support Team (us) will be launching the WE WORK for Everyone service and One Front Door to provide easy access and navigation to the best of Bristol’s employment and skills organisations to more people in need of the support and training you can provide. These projects and Ways2Work cannot offer help and support to residents of Bristol and the West of England area without you.
Please stay safe this Christmas and new year, whatever your plans are. I hope you can take some time to step back and recover. Remember, this too shall pass.
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Ways2Work.
