This course is for anyone over 18 is eligible, as long as they are in receipt of benefits, not working but not claiming benefits, or working but earning less than £16,000 a year; even if they have not been in the country long, or have a failed asylum application. They do need to be able to work at a L1 in English and Maths.
The course will begin on Monday 18th November, and will run Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm for 17 working days. If you already have English and Maths Functional Skills level 1 or GCES grades D in English and Maths, please bring proof and you may not need to repeat that element of the course
Please bring ID on Monday- ideally a passport, UK birth certificate, biometric residence card, driving licence etc. In addition we need proof of benefits if you receive them (your UC log-in on your phone is fine) or if not, bank statements or payslips for the last 3 months.
Your work coach will be able to provide you with bus tickets in advance. please confirm your attendance, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with Sarah about any questions you may have.
