YES Adult Courses: Classroom learning for the Summer Term

This information was sent to Ways2Work by another organisation. For more details please use the contact details or links in the post below.

I’m pleased to confirm that Youth Education Service will be offering a full programme of classroom-based adult learning courses in the Summer Term. In response to the educational challenges of the last year we have planned a programme that will provide a supportive & preparatory return to learning.

Our fundamental Make Numbers Work and Make English Work courses will revisit essential and practical English and maths skills and are designed to prepare learners for progression towards Functional Skills courses.

We have reshaped our popular Dyslexia Support course into an even more accessible and compact five week programme allowing us to offer two start dates.

We are also pleased to announce a NEW Confidence for Learning programme. This four hour course, delivered as two afternoon workshops, is for learners wishing to build confidence to re-engage with learning.

Finally, we will be re-launching our online English for Work course which combines essential digital and English skills to build confidence and support progression towards work.

Due to the pandemic our class sizes continue to be smaller than usual and so we encourage learners to book a space early to avoid disappointment. Our classroom space is ‘Covid safe’ and we will be monitoring the situation closely to ensure we maintain a safe and secure environment for our learners. We are aware that learners may be feeling anxious about accessing face to face groups and we are keen to ensure our programme is as accessible as possible so please do get in touch to discuss any concerns you have and we will do our best to enable you to access our courses.

Please find attached a Summer Term flyer and a comprehensive Course Information Sheet for more detailed reference.

We are delighted to be reopening over the coming months and look forward to receiving your referrals and enquiries.
