Mentoring Opportunity for Young Men

This information was sent to Ways2Work by another organisation. For more details please use the contact details or links in the post below.

abandofbrothers is pleased to announce that we have opportunities for young men (18 – 25 yrs) to join a free to access 10 week one-to-one mentoring program week commencing 18th January 2021 in Bristol.

abandofbrothers is an award-winning charity helping young men who have been involved (or are at risk of being) in the criminal justice system, to grow and develop, improving their lives and the communities they live in – visit the website or watch a video about our work here.

abandofbrothers has developed a COVID-safe ten week national Mentoring Programme in which trained mentors will meet with a young man once a week (outside, socially distanced), with a focus on listening deeply to them and their experience.

During the programme they will also get to learn more about abandofbrothers and how we can support them afterwards; including a weekend rite of passage, weekly circles, community engagement and further training.

Download referral form here.

If you or your organisation know of a young man who could benefit from one-to-one mentoring from an older man at this challenging time, please send a referral form to: bristol+ym@abandofbrothers.org.uk
