Free Multi-skills Classroom-Based Construction course

This course information was sent to Ways2Work by Sarah Freeman from the Finance and Management Business School. For more details, please email sarah.freeman@fmbusinessschool.com.

I am pleased to announce that the recently temporarily suspended Multi-skills Classroom-based Construction course is now set to run from 4 January 2021 for 6 weeks. I have been assured that this course will run regardless of learner numbers as a pilot with the potential to be an ongoing rolling course offer.

This course is free for anyone aged 16+ who is NEET, unemployed or low-waged, with no upper age limit.

The training sessions will take place at The Beeches in  or at Somer Valley Campus near Radstock, depending where learners live.

The course will run from 4 January 2021 for 6 weeks, with learners attending two days a week.

Bath College has links with apprenticeship providers and employers so there will be options for progression afterwards once they have also completed the Level 1 in Construction Skills.

They will also support people with Employability Skills and English and Maths if they don’t already have those qualification.

I have attached the enrolment and IAG forms which can be typed out and emailed back to me, or I can complete them with learners over the phone.

Enrolments need to be completed by Tuesday 15th December for a start date of 4th January.
