The Prince’s Trust are pleased to announce several upcoming employability focused programmes.
ONLINE: Get Ready for Work (ages 16-30)
Are you looking to boost your employability skills, confidence and gain support in looking for work? Our Ready for Work programme will help you improve your customer service and interview skills, learn about good CV writing and help you take your next steps into employment. 1:1 follow up support will be offered at the end of the programme to help secure employment.
Taster Day: Tuesday 13th October
Main Programme: Monday 19th October – Wednesday 21st October
Where: Microsoft Teams
ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE: ‘Marks and Start’ Get into Retail with Marks and Spencer (ages 16-25)
A mix of digital learning and practical, in store experience. You’ll work towards securing a temporary contract over the Christmas period – all whilst meeting new people and learning new skills!
Not only will it boost your confidence and employability prospects, but you’ll also have the chance to benefit from the support of one our mentors to help you uncover your next steps.
Taster Day: Tuesday 20th October (please note young people will need to attend an information session prior to the Taster Day, to ensure suitability)
Main Programme: Monday 26th October – Friday 20th November
Where: Microsoft Teams but also store placements available across Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a young person interested in both courses, they can still potentially attend both. Suitable candidates on the Ready for Work course may be invited to the Get into Retail with Marks and Spencer Taster Day on the 20th.
